When tweens and teens show interest, begin a light routine: gentle cleanse, moisturise, and SPF in the morning.

Avoid harsh ingredients
Tweens and teens should avoid strong “adult” skincare ingredients that can irritate or damage developing skin. This includes retinol, strong exfoliating acids (like AHAs and BHAs), high-strength vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide unless prescribed, and any harsh scrubs or products with strong fragrance. Gentle, simple ingredients and an adequate SPF are important in growing skins.

Twice daily, SPF every morning
Cleanse morning and night, moisturise after each cleanse, and apply sunscreen in the morning. After sport or heavy sweat, a gentle cleanse and re-apply moisturiser if needed.
